Parents sing with your children on this page and on their grade level with songs they are learning in music. Families need to have fun singing together!
Parents PLEASE allow students to "Teach" Mom & Dad/Guardian what they are learning in music. Students love sharing their knowledge. Please make time for a couple of minutes to hear what they are doing in their music class.

- Sing correctly using a variety of methods including Kodaly/Solfege and body line sight-singing;
- Play Orff instruments
- Dance & Move (Work on large and fine motor skills)
- Study Music Theory, basic computer skills (assisted by “Music Maestro” software which tracks each student)
- Study American Folk Music
- Study Music of Other Cultures (Multi-Cultural Music)
- Study Music History
Music Standards
1. Singing, alone and with others, a varied repertoire of music
2. Performing on instruments, alone and with others, a varied repertoire of music
3. Improvising melodies, variations, and accompaniments
4. Composing and arranging music within specified guidelines
5. Reading and notating music
6. Listening to, analyzing, and describing music
7. Evaluating music and music performance
8. Understanding relationships between music, the other arts, and disciplines outside the arts
9. Understanding music in relation to history and culture
